Demystifying sustainable development and ESG

In collaboration with Ms Lorraine Simard of Comité 21, PECEM would like to offer Poles the opportunity to take two complementary training courses on implementing a sustainable development policy and developing ESG criteria for organizations. These steps are often necessary or noticed for companies responding to public calls for tender or doing business with large corporations.

The first part of the course provides an understanding of the process involved in drawing up a Sustainable Development Policy (SDP). Good internal policies reflect sound governance for organizations. A PDD also enables an organization to distinguish itself in terms of eco-responsibility, particularly during public tendering processes. The workshop takes place on February 27, from 9am to 12pm.

The second part deals with ESG criteria. These are environmental, social and governance criteria that enable us to position a company's activities by examining their impact on society and the environment. They are then used to improve internal practices. This last one will take place on March 12, from 9am to 12pm.

These training courses are offered at a cost of $300 to $450 per person, depending on the number of registrations. Maximum 12 participants.
