Activated on La Ruche, the Fonds Horizons d'ici is an initiative of the Quebec government. It aims to foster the emergence of stimulating tourism projects for communities.

Get up to $100,000

The Fonds Horizons d'ici supports collaborative projects that maximize the economic, social and environmental benefits of tourism for communities throughout Quebec. The fund has a budget of $2 million.

You could obtain a contribution equivalent to 50% of the value of the objective, up to a maximum of $100,000. For example, if you raise $10,000 through the community on La Ruche, you'll get an additional $5,000 for your project.

The 4 objectives of the Fund
The collaborative project must meet at least one of the following 4 objectives and have a multiplier effect:

Help anchor the tourism offering in communities;

Reduce the environmental footprint of the tourism offering;

Encourage innovative initiatives related to travel, extended stays, shared services or active mobility tours;

Mobilize citizen action to contribute to sustainable and responsible tourism.
