How to generate more profits?

It's a question many entrepreneurs ask themselves. Selling more isn't necessarily the only solution, especially if additional sales don't generate additional profit. The other option is to lower, better control or better understand your costs so you can make informed decisions. Knowing your production costs will help you do just that.

You'll be better equipped to answer the following questions:
- How much do your products or services really cost? Which ones are profitable?
- Can you lower your prices to accept a bulk order and still make a profit?
- What is the minimum number of units you need to sell of this new product? And at what price?
- How much do the hours you bill cost (service business)?
- How do you allocate your operating costs to your products or services?
- How much is your inventory worth?

This workshop will help you :
- distinguish between the different types of costs: variable, fixed, direct and indirect;
- understand the different approaches to costing (marginal contribution, full cost and activity-based costing)
select the best approach according to your objectives;
- learn to better understand your manufacturing process;
- make more informed decisions;
- discuss APMs with other participants;
- set up processes to gather the information you need to calculate your costs.

N.B.: If possible, bring your own financial statements (which will remain confidential).

Cost: $75
